Cement is an essential material required for humans to construct any structure such as houses, factories, buildings, bridges, stadiums, airports and the list goes on.
India is the second-largest producer of cement in the world, accounting for more than 7% of the global installed capacity. In 2022, domestic production of cement stood at 356 million tons.
India produces a lot of cement to provide high levels of infrastructure for its rapidly growing population.
